“A brief approach to the musical canon in education from a gender perspective”

Abstract

Over the following pages we will carry out a brief review of the role women has performed in our western masculine white culture. We will focus on gender studies conducted in the music field, especially on those where the presence of women in music cannon is vive. (Understood it as a text anthology) used in education. With the purpose of getting to develop the reflexive and critical spirit in university students, we will finish by forwarding some proposals of work for musical work taken from the gender perspective.
