Abstract

With the support of Vasquez (2008) and Weston (2005) proposals, guidelines for the composition of one of the most complex discursive genres of the theory of text types, the essay are defined, described and offered, thinking in a particular way on the exercise of the student writer production and at times on the role of the teacher as the process counselor.
