Wind energy and vertical and horizontal axis wind turbines
Abstract
This project aims to determine the impacts and benefits of the use of wind energy and the process of transformation of kinetic energy to electrical energy through mechanical physics; The methodology used was documentary research, which is based on consulting different articles (books, magazines, newspapers, memoirs, yearbooks, records, codices, constitutions, etc.), as well as integrated research that allows citing other research carried out that contribute to the development of this project. Wind energy is a renewable energy and a great alternative since due to its nature it does not emit toxic substances, therefore it does not contribute to climate change or the greenhouse effect; This type of wind power plant requires little time for its construction and can be installed in isolated points so it can be used to meet the needs of a home and / or community, this energy works based on the wind, which is a source of energy abundant and almost inexhaustible, so it can be estimated that the wind potential is sufficient to supply up to 15 times the current demand for electricity.Downloads
