Meteorological effects generated by tropical waves in Colombia
Abstract
Tropical waves are considered a relevant meteorological phenomenon in Colombia due to the effects that can directly or indirectly affect the north of the country, this phenomenon is considered as an alteration generated by the North African winds that are in constant movement and it is related to other variables such as temperature and precipitation. At present there are different digital platforms that allow us to recognize climatic conditions around the world, where it is possible to evaluate the changes produced by these waves by passing through the tropics. The data from these platforms visualize, manage and analyze geographic information. Therefore, the research development of this article will be based on the applicability of the geographic information systems tool within meteorology, in this case Windy is proposed and will carry out an analysis of the most serious components and effects produced by these waves in Colombia.Downloads
