Abstract
This article arises from a consistent analysis of the identification ofknowledge needs to strengthen business management focused onstrengthening the entrepreneurial spirit, from the perspective of businessstudents of the Open and Distance Education Center (CEAD) Ibagué.After analyzing the characteristics of the students’ entrepreneurs andcompanies and knowing their main administrative knowledge needs. This research was carried out from a mixed approach on a sample made up of 326 students. For thecollection of information, an online questionnaire was designed and implemented. The results allowedus to conclude that the majority of CEAD Ibagué students are employees and a very low percentagedecides to create their own company. Finally, it was found that the inclusion of entrepreneurship inthe students’ curriculum is essential, as well as developing strategies that allow strengthening skillsin the creation of companies or productive projects, and in the durability of those businesses thatimprove the quality of life. of the CEAD Ibagué students.Downloads
